Thyrology practice

Our specialists perform the following examinations:

• determining thyroid hormones, antibodies and scintigraphy

Two-dimensional ultrasound examination of thyroid and soft neck structures is used to assess thyroid size, inner structure and changes in neck glands.

Colour Doppler sonography of thyroid gland and soft neck structures diagnoses changes of blood circulation of the thyroid gland and neck structures.

"POWER" sonography of the thyroid gland precisely detects blood circulation in thyroid knots.

Clinical examination is performed by a specialist in thyroid diseases. Based on the examinations, performed by ultrasound and laboratory tests of the thyroid organ, the thyrologist gives an opinion of functional condition of the thyroid gland, and suggests further diagnostic examinations and therapy if needed.
